ABOUT THE BAND

 

The J Houston Band performs original and cover material in a blues rock style. They have completed four original albums to date. They feature songs from their recent album Milestone as well as songs from past albums and some popular cover material. Highlights for the band include opening for acclaimed blues harpist Carlos del Junco, blues guitarist JW Jones, Juno award winner Crystal Shawanda and playing the Toronto Fringe Festival. The band has also had many songs featured on internet radio in Canada, the United States and the UK.
